The Mercury Club is always looking for candidates for The Hy Truman/Donald Goldberg Memorial Award.  The Mercury Club Selection Committee does not want to miss any high school senior who might be a possible Mercury Club winner.  If you know of any candidates, we want to hear from you.

The Mercury Club Selection Committee is made up of former winners.  Once applications are submitted, committee members check with coaches, teachers and others who have knowledge of the candidates. References are important. We urge candidates to give our committee as much information as possible. Winners are usually notified in early May.

Current Selection Committee members are Allison Barnett King, Michael King, Charlotte Bierer, Matt Lerner, Bill Neuman and Steve Waldman.

Please reach out to Steve with any questions or candidate suggestions:

2020 Candidate Selection/Banquet

Hello everyone, We hope you and yours are safe and well. The Mercury Club Selection Committee is in the process of reviewing applications. While our deadline was April 15, please contact Steve Waldman  if you feel there is a candidate we might have missed that we should still consider. Typically our banquet is held in the last weekend of June. Due to the current environment, it is highly unlikely we will be hosting the banquet during this timeframe. We will keep everyone updated with our decision about whether to postpone or cancel this year's banquet. Again, Steve will be your primary point of contact for any questions. As always, thank you for your support of the Mercury Club! We look forward to connecting with you all in person once everything returns to normal. Best regards, The Mercury Club
