2020 Winners

2020 marks the 100 Year Anniversary of the Mercury Club! While we aren't able to celebrate in person this year, know that we are all celebrating together in spirit, and look forward to marking this occasion and recognizing 2020 and 2021 winners together next year.

Without further ado, we are proud to announce the winners of this year's Hy Truman/Donald Goldberg and Hy Truman/Rae Kleinbaum Memorial Awards:

Ali Fine is the Club's 33rd Female Winner. Ali graduated from Blake High School this spring and will be attending the University of Wisconsin in the fall, where she will be playing college soccer. Some of her athletic accomplishments include

  • All State - 2018, 2019
  • All State Tournament Team - 2019

What the Mercury Award means to Ali:
"It would be incredibly rewarding to win this award and be recognized as the top Jewish female athlete and join the long list of Blake athletes before me that were also fortunate to win this prestigious award."

Jacob Rochell-Share is the Club's 84th Male Winner. Jacob graduated from Minneapolis Southwest High School this spring and will be attending the University of Michigan this fall. Some of his athletic accomplishments include
